ilkie – Möbius Architecture, 2008
For Reality Festival, ilkie presents two projects : « Pola-droids » is a serie of polaroids avatars portraits and « Möbius Architecture » is based on the mathematical principle of Möbius Ribbon that interweaving realities. The twisting represents the transition from two different realities to only one : both ribbon faces becoming only a single face that we can read in a way or in the other way. Feelings, lived and creation indifferently transit from a reality to the other one. Then, virtual universe reality is linked to physical world and conversely, until it makes only one and unique reality.
After working as a lawyer specialized in new technologies and intellectual property, ilkie took a legal approach in the exploration of virtual universes. Then she chose to direct most of her reflection towards creation around metavers1. Today ilkie is working on a new aesthetic linked to virtual universe, related emotions that come and interweaving of these different realities.

ilkie lives and works in Paris. She resides in Second Life since December 2006.
